December Operating Hours

Terryfic Times is normally open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Due to off-site programs, appointments and vacations, we will have limited hours  during this month.  

We will be closed on afternoons to do after-school programs December 1, 2, 5th to 9th and 12th to 16th.  We will be closed for Christmas December 22nd through December 27th.   

There are times that we have to run errands during the day.  It's best to call the shop at 704-895-BLUE (2583) to get the hours of operation for that day.  If you don't get us at the shop, call me on my cell phone (704-995-4036) or Sandy on her cell phone (704-763-0433).

Storewide Sale

The storewide sale has been met with such great success that we've decided to keep it going until the end of 2011.  Save 15% off the retail price of all in-stock merchandise.  TLC's (Terryfic Loyal Customers) get another 10% off the sale price, so they can save 23.5% off their entire purchase of in-stock merchandise.  TLC's also get to save 40% off one in-stock item during the month.  The sale does not apply to back orders, special orders, or kits created by Terryfic Times.

Consignment and Sale Room

Terryfic Times now has a designated space for consigned goods and sale items.  Consigned goods will be available at all times, not just for the used stamp sale.  All consigned items are to be paid for with cash or checks.  We just got in a big consignment with over 100 Stampin' Up sets, stamps, dies by Sizzix, Cuttlebug and QuicKutz, punches, papers, and much more.  The link to the listing with these items is Stampin' Up .  The Stampin' Up sets are priced 50% to 75% off the retail price, depending on the condition of the stamps.

Shutter Card Kits -- a Terryfic Times Exclusive

Terryfic Times has custom dies to make Terryfic Shutter Cards.  The way we've designed this card, there are eleven sections.  We have dies to cut two mats for each of those sections.  We will cut the basic card and twenty-two mats for you, so that you can spend your time being creative, not cutting.  The card kits come in a variety of colors and are made with the Basis 80 pound card stock from Leader Paper.  We have found a variety of ways to fold this card to give you a different look with each fold.  The kits are $3.50 each - $2 for the base card and $.75 for each set of mats in one color only per set.  Order five or more kits and pay only $3 per kit.  We're offering these kits at the TLC price to everyone.  No additional discount will be given.

We had another custom die made to make the tri-fold shutter card that folds up to the ATC size with one layer of mats.  The ATC card is $1 and the 11 piece mat set is $.50 in one color.  We also have custom envelopes for these cards.

Terryfic Door Hangers

Terryfic Times has two custom dies to make "Terryfic" door hangers -- one with plain edges and one with scalloped edges.  These fit into a standard #10 envelope.  We've had a great time making custom door hangers for our customers with special messages for that special person.  These are cut in a heavy white plastic or in chipboard for $1 each.  If you want a specific paper adhered to the base (before cutting), add the cost of the paper to the $1 base price.  

We made a door hanger for a friend going to Paris for a week.  In French, we wrote "I love Paris, but not this early.  Please do not disturb!"  With some added bling and a customized made for label on the back, the door hanger was a special bon voyage present for her.

Stamp Club Meeting

The daytime Stamp Club will meet again in January for another fun project.  Generally, the projects are $5 per person.

Cricut Expression Rental Program

Terryfic Times has a wonderful rental program on its Cricut Expression.  You buy your own mat and blade(s) and can rent time on our Cricut Expression for $5 an hour or $10 for up to 3 hours.  In addition, we do rent out our cartridges for $5 for three-days and $10 for a week.  If you're interested in buying Cricut Cartridges from Terryfic Times, we'll be happy to order them for you.  Call the shop (704-895-BLUE [2583]) or email me (terry@terryfictimes.com) for more details.

• New Spellbinders dies are now in stock, including the limited edition dies for the holidays. There are Grand Impressabilities to use with the Grand Calibur, the newest diecutting machine from Spellbinders, for $20 each.   These embossing plates are 8 1/2" by 11" so you can emboss a whole page of paper with one pass in the Grand Calibur.
• Heartfelt Creations has a wonderful collection of stamps with matching dies from Spellbinders.  Some of their stamps match existing Spellbinders dies while others coordinate with the custom dies from Heartfelt Creations.  Visit their website (www.heartfeltcreations.us) to see their complete catalog.  Call or email us with your order.

• A great selection Just Rite stamps are now in. JustRite now has dies custom made by Spellbinders to match some of their stamp sets.  Other stamp sets coordinate with Spellbinders dies.  There are also new cling stamps available.  Check out their site (www.justritestampers.com) and send me your order!
• Great new papers, including many double-sided papers.  Some of these are close-outs and are limited in supply.  We love the double dots collection from Bo Bunny.  You will, too.
• There are new embossing folders by Darice that will be coming in later this month.  Many of their designs are like those from Crafts, Too, but the price is only $5 per folder.  
• The GEO dies, GEO backers and Pop dies from Pop Ups, Plane Class are fabulous.  I'd never be able to cut a Lace template with an Xacto knife, so I'm loving these dies.  I used a GEO die and backer to make 100 Christmas cards for my husband's office.  I added a sticker from EK Success, a little bling and a Starform "Merry Christmas" sticker on an oval diecut and wrote a special Christmas verse on the inside liner.

Cathie Allan's Position-It

This non-slip positioner is for cardmakers and scrapbookers. It can position and align images or parts of images, reapply detail AFTER painting or coloring, correct an image that has been previously mis-stamped, build up the color value of an image, and emboss images that have been previously stamped.  The Position-It retails for $30.  The 1" and 2" Sub-Positioners retail for $13.  There is a set of four replacement pegs for $3.

One-year Terryfic Loyal Customer (TLC) memberships are available for $20.   As a TLC, you will receive the following benefits:

• 10% off all purchases of merchandise, including sale prices

• 15% off all special orders (no additional 10% discount)

• Free in-store use* of the die cutting machine with large size dies and smaller, such as alphabets, memorabilia envelopes, and various shapes and images
