Terryfic Times

Terryfic Times offers a wide variety of ASEP programs.   

• Terryfic Times Karaoke – This program has been designed to meet curriculum standards for music, reading, physical education, language arts, information skills and more.  This high-energy, fun-filled activity enhances and/or develops poise, self-confidence, reading skills, listening skills, team-building, and rhythm.  D-Jay services and dance lessons are also provided.  Cost:  $200 for a 2 to 3-hour program.

• Terryfic Journals – Students and staff have an opportunity to create and design their own unique journal, choosing their pages from a large selection of design and solid colored papers.  Using stencils, rubber stamps, gel pens, color pencils, markers and their imagination, they design the covers for their journals.  The journals are great to use in the writing centers, for drawing, for math, and more.  Beverly received an Arts & Science Council Access Grant for her journal project.  Cost:  $5/journal for the first 50 journals; $4/journal thereafter plus $75 for each additional day.

• Terryfic Calendars – This extension of the Terryfic Journals incorporates a school calendar with important CMS and ASEP dates highlighted.  An optional weekly schedule for journaling is available.   Cost:  $5/calendar for the first 50 calendars; $4/ calendar thereafter plus $75 for each additional day.

• Terryfic Cards – Students have an opportunity to express their artistic ability by designing and/or coloring cards for a variety of occasions.  They can enhance their writing skills by composing verses.  Cost:  starting at $3.00 per student.

• Terryfic Books – Students create handmade books in a variety of designs, including photo albums, note pad holders, and envelope books.  Cost:  starting at $3 per student.

• Terryfic Wraps – Students design their own wrapping papers using a variety of art materials.  Cost:  starting at $2.50 per student.

• Terryfic Puppets – Make frog, lamb, bunny, chick, lady-bug and butterfly hand-puppets.  Cost:  $3/puppet.

• Terryfic Puzzles – Students create their own 8” by 10” puzzle.  Cost:  $3/puzzle.

• Terryfic Tags – Customized with your school name and logo, these laminated tags come in variety of colors.  Great for field trips.  Cost:  $2/tag (Instructional money).

Come visit the Terryfic Times shop at 18936 W. Catawba Avenue in Cornelius, NC.  We sell, rent and consign new and gently used art supplies (rubber stamps, stencils, punches scissors, markers, color pencils, chalks, papers, envelopes and more).  There is a computer, video library and die-cut machine for in-store use.  Check out our school supply specials and customized note cards.  We will special-order supplies for ASEP Site Coordinators.  Purchase orders and MasterCard and VISA are gladly accepted.  Special discounts and offerings will be given to ASEP staff and students.
